I love this lens. i have had several other lenses that did not cover the range and quality this lens provides. from landscapes to portraits to close up and more. very quick focus times and stays sharp from the widest focus to farthest zoom ranges. the lens has a little weight to it but not to uncomfortable for a day's shooting. the lens hood is a bit flimsy for a lens of this quality. first one broke at the connecting side in under a month. the plastic is to thin at the attachment points.

This is the lens that stays on my D5100 most of the time in the field.  Its range is really great and sharpness is right on.

I probably use this the most when traveling and as my walk around lens.  I have the original version and not the II.  This, plus a couple of fast primes in the bag, make for my go to bag.

Great Lens.

Great lens.

Hi, I have Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S ED VR II Nikkor Telephoto Zoom Lens. I am trying to use it with Nikon D500 but it is not working. The Lens is working fine with my older D60. Please can someone advice? Thanks in advance.
