Hi there,

My name is Elvis and I am from Sydney, Australia. I've been interested in photography for quite some time but have only recently (the past year) got back into it. I own a Nikon D600.

Going to see if I can get to the Zoo this weekend and take some photos of the Meerkats with this lens. I think I could come up with some great shots!

Been using the battery grip and it is working great. Having the 2 extra batteries is also a bonus. I picked up a D7000 body but it came with no battery and I was lucky because its the same battery as the D600. Woo Hoo.

I also think if they're going to extend the draw then there should be more ways to earn extra raffle tickets especially for the members and contributors who've been here longer and contribute to the forum.

Phew, I had to check the Raffle date... I was sure it was happening within the week and when I looked at the giveaway link (which shows how many entries you have) it said 57 days to go! But then I read the first post and it said 10th of December. 5 days to go. Can't wait... though I'm sure everyone who has entered is looking forward to "Winning" the Camera.

I now have a 2nd body to add to my kit. Now if I do a shoot I don't have to worry about changing lenses. Added is a D7000.

Well the auction is over so for now no. But I'll keep an eye out for other bargains and see what I can find her. She has a Nikon D1 though she has no idea how to use it LOL. (Plus it's a bit outdated).
