A tiny sand bubbler crab photographed at Riddell Beach, Broome, Western Australia. The name derives from the little 'bubbles' of sand they cover the beaches with as they extract protein from within.

I have so many photos of birds it was tough to decide which one to put in this month's competition.  It wouldn't have mattered because none of my photos are as exquisite as this image here.  Simply beautiful.
