Finally I caught the elusive (at least for myself) Milky Way with my camera!
I went on a trip to a little seaside town called Fazana, Croatia and came up with these images.
PP was done in Photoshop this time.

I'm a D, but I wouldn't mind selling a photo or two here and there

Here are some B&W images taken past weekend in Triglav National Park, Slovenia. All taken with Nikon d750 and Tamron 24-70 VC lens.
Here are photos from Pericnik Fall. You can walk behind the actual fall. I think it is the only one in Slovenia.

Very, very nice Ross! I like the dramatic look.
I think the weather was on your side as far as photographing water/waterfall goes

Hello and welcome to the forums!
As Merco_61 wrote, with ND8 filter you will lose only 3 stops of light.
I also found out markings on ND filters are not correct, usually. For example my 10-stop ND filter from Formatt-Hitech is actually more of a 10.5-stop filter, while my Haida 12-stop filter is around 12.66-stop filter.
You can check yours this way: take one image without a filter in M mode for properly exposed scene, then put your ND8 filter on and only change the shutter speed on your camera minus 3 stops (ie from 1/250 to 1/30 sec). Upload both images to your editing software and check them out and see if they are similar exposed.
Hope this helps.
