My son has a company that builds custom motorcycles.  I provide photos for his web site and for customers.  Here are a few shots of his latest build, completed this week.  This bike started life as a Yamaha XV920 Virago.  It now has front suspension and brakes from a BMW, Honda 5-spoke rims, Suzuki GSX-R rear shock, gas tank from a 1970s Suzuki "water buffalo" 750cc 2-stroke, and lots of custom made parts.  The ignition and electrical system has been updated with a unit from Moto Gadgets that can be controlled from a smart phone via blue tooth.  The phone acts as the proximity key and turns on the system when you get close.  And if you forgot your phone, it also includes a traditional key switch hidden under the gas tank.  This is the third "Scout" that he has built.

I had a co-worker who did that with PCs.  He wanted to wait until he could find "the best" price.  By then, he knew they had a newer version coming out, so he decided to wait for the newer version.  Last I talked to him it had been at least 5 different generations of PCs and he still had not decided to purchase.  There may always be a lower price and there may or may not be a newer version of the same model.  Doesn't really matter...find a deal you like and get something that you can enjoy...unless, of course, you don't need and can do fine with what you have now...and then, the best deal or newest model doesn't really matter...

As a 750 user, go buy it, you'll be pleased.

Some of these need the horizon straightened as my left arm was getting a bit tired by now. I will get around to it for prints, but they will do for the web. The only adjustments I have done in post are some crops and some retouched spots.

Here are some more: Parachute, Hercules, ambulance helicopter and JAS 39 Gripen. The reason for the D300 for the parachute soldier is that I needed the reach while they were still high up and didn't have the time to change body as they got lower. This turned out better than the ones at higher altitude.
