I slipped out yesterday for awhile. I headed to the river. After I got out of the car I made it out of the parking lot and about 100 ft on the trail. I never made it to the river. It was only about 1000 ft. from where I parked. I spent the 2 hours with in 200 feet of the parking lot shooting what ever caught my fancy. I had the D200 along with the Sigma 28-80, my 24/2.8 Ai , and my 105 ai with me.
Here are a couple from that time the second one is with the Sigma. the first reads as the 24 in the Exif but I took a couple of shots atfer I took it off and mounted the 105.
I think it was actually the 105mm

I slipped out for a walk Sat. evening. I actually have ( I think ) some shot. My camera developed a failure I have been working on getting that taken care of so haven't had a chance to look at them yet. I will post something maybe tomorrow .

Yes it has the gears on the outside of the lenses. I have the outside and mirror cleaned. It appear that the taking lens is not focusing. it turns when either lens is turned but it does not seem to change focus when looking thru it and rotating the lens. I found that even tho it has no B mode if I hold the shutter release just right it will hold the shutter open so I can look thru it.

I have already started cleaning, but I do plan on photo's as I go along. I will post as I go along. hopefully I only need to open the lenses to find out why one is not focusing. I assume something is broken in side of it. I am hoping not. will probably be this weekend before I get started for earnest.

I got a new project today. I received a Richoflex Vll. It is in dire need of a good cleaning . The focus works but is very stiff. every thing seems to work, but I think taking it apart and clean and relube is probably in order. Another chance to learn something new. I have 3 rolls of 120 film just waiting. They are sitting next to a borrowed Yashica matt.

I am not getting much time for shooting at the moment . I did slip out Sunday evening with a shooting buddy. Here is one I took trying out a 14mm lens on my K30. as well as one from a 70mm on the same body. these are straight out of the camera.

My wife wanted a photo of a reflection so I obliged. I sort of ran (fast as an arthritic old man can) I got back just in time to snap one shot before the sun disappeared behind the clouds again Her response was I like the real thing better. Not surprised. So I figured it would make a fun photo to play with in post .

I went out yesterday running errands. I decided to go for a walk at on of the parks I haven't been to this year. I had the k30 and 35/2.4 mounted and tamron 90 macro in the bag just in case. Actually the bag was loaded from last weekend for light travel and I didn't feel like taking the time to switch out the gear. The park was having a hummingbird festival. I found I really need to practice my speed tracking . Those buggers are hard to get and keep in focus . Especially since the feeders were about 40 feet from where we were allowed for viewing.
Here are a couple from that outing.
K30 /Tamron 90mm
Both cropped 100% then 100% again
Next week end is the D200's turn. It seems like I really enjoy both cameras about the same for some reason. All the rest just sit around.

Here is one from a lens from the early mid 1970s. Lately I have neglected my Pentax gear even more than my Nikon gear'. I really enjoy this lens since I was able to put a Katzeye focus screen in my camera
