Oregon Wood Duck.
The Oregon Wood Duck nests in trees near water, sometimes directly over water, but other times over a mile away. We have been fortunate enough to observe the ducklings scaring up the courage to take a dive out of their nests in the trees and land either on the ground or in water.

Focal Length @ 92mm, Manual Exposure Mode, used Olympus Speedlight with Spot Metering. I attempted to adjust for the hot spots and this was the best I could do.
