In Topic: First Dslr Nikon d3200

As a music venue photographer I use a D3200 when shooting rowdier venues. It is good enough to look like I used the D800 at a slightly less risk of expensive damage. Most clients cant tell the difference.

I too agree that 1/15 is too slow for that long of lens. When shooting wildlife I try to stay above 1/500 on the 70-200. The problem seems to be slight motion in your deer / camera

Interesting how I ended up with the ASUS too! Yeah, time to plug it in and play with it! Downloaded the Nikon Wireless Mobile Utility to see what functionality is provided. Will post up my findings after using it a bit.

In Topic: How to Photograph a Lunar Eclipse. From Nikon.

I got a decent shot of the lunar eclipse using my d3200. It's not perfect, but it was shot using an outa the box camera and lens. A new D800 and a better lens could have improved the shot tremendously. There was also a slight motion issue, so maybe a better tripod too!
