Hello from Vancouver, BC, Canada

06 May 2014 - 10:55 PM

Hi, a few months ago I acquired a Nikon D3200 with a few lenses and I got absolutely hooked. Photography is now a passion of mine. I am just learning and trying to improve my technique as much as I can. This can be very frustrating sometimes, but certainly highly rewarding when I finally have those "a-ha" moments and achieve or learn something new. I love taking pictures on the weekend and I always try to pick new places to explore. I recently bought a macro lens and since then you will most likely find me covered in mud and crawling on the forest ground . I am a biologist so I love taking pictures of nature and being outdoors. This forum is a great place to exchange ideas and pictures with other photography hobbyists and professionals. Cheers

Do I need a light rim for macro pics?

Hi Gang, I recently acquired photoshop (trial version). I was wondering whats your preference for editing software. I cant decide between lightroom and photoshop. Any feedback will be appreciated
