D850- Can you use the BKT function when Exposure Delay Mode is on?

13 March 2023 - 08:39 PM

Can you use the BKT function when Exposure Delay Mode is on? Or have to take individual shots?

P.S. Still learning the ins and outs of this camera. Not to mention learning DXO PL 6 in parallel.

Teleconverters for Nikon FX (D850) camera?

10 March 2023 - 07:16 PM

Thinking of getting a teleconverter(s) for my D850. Questions for those that have used them. What do you recommend 1.4X, 2X, both? Nikon Brand or is there another option? How is the IQ using them? I have the 24mm, 50mm and the 85mm primes. Seems I could save in both money and weight getting them

Using a ND filter and issue with aperture priority. D 850

08 March 2023 - 06:22 PM

I put on a neutral density filter. to shoot a shot with moving water. I always shoot in A priority with the ISO set at base 64. But the camera indicated "auto" ISO. When I changed the ISO back to 64 it also changed (opened up) the aperture. How can I set the aperture and ISO to where I want it and let the shutter speed fall where it may?

David Yarrow Interview- One camera/lens Question

27 February 2023 - 01:10 PM

Last night I was watching a remote interview with David Yarrow on YouTube. He was asked if he could only take one camera and one lens what would you choose. His reply, "the camera is an easy one- the Nikon 850". The lens he had to think about, but finally said the 85MM would likely be his choice.

BKT button on D850?

17 February 2023 - 08:38 PM

Is the BKT button something you can setup  (access by pressing it once) then shoot or do you have to "reset" it every time you want to bracket? Or set to a preset for quick access or assign the BKT/settings to a button?
