GPS on Coolpix AW100 no longer working

I have a Coolpix AW100.

 

I was using the camera to capture photos with Lat/Long coordinates yesterday.

 

Today - No GPS coordinates are captured.

 

I have GPS turned on, but the GPS icon does not indicate any signal strength.  Battery is fully charged.  A-GPS files are no longer available and it does not appear that Nikon has any firmware updates for my camera.

 

How do I get GPS to work again?

Have pulled out my Coolpix AW100 that was given to me many years ago. 

 

I'm trying to use the camera to document home owner association repair needs using the GPS feature and so far, the pix are great for my needs.

 

Hoping to coax a bit more out of the camera to identify location.

Getting GPS from Coolpix AW100 to NX Studio

Hi.

 

I have a Nikon Coolpix AW100 and am wondering how to get GPS information from my photos into NX Studio.

 

I am using the SD card to transfer images from camera to Apple iMac.

 

Help greatly appreciated.
