Mamo Tower. Built as a Private Residence. Now a Museum.


The Bastions of Valletta.


Chapel of The Annunciation. One of many Chapels built when Malta was under the control of The Knights of St. John.

Glastonbury : St. John the Baptist Parish Church

 

Not quite as grand as the original Abbey, but this is still quite an impressive building.

This place is full of history :-

 

1. The birthplace of Christianity in England.

2. Joseph of Arimathea is credited with having the Holy Thorn Tree blossom/bloom from his staff that he stuck in the ground.

3. Legendary burial place of King Arthur & Queen Gwenevere

 

This is all legendary but makes for a very interesting place to visit and photograph.
