So nobody here has this lens or used it in anger...?

I have a few P....d off members in my camera club. One has had a d600 for close to a year and its filthy..... its just gone to Nikon for a clean. The other two are in a worse position in my opinion, they have just recently bought their d600's, thinking that the sensor issue was maybe just a batch problem. Now less than 2-3 months later they too have the oil and spotting issue and are fuming that the d610 is out..... not happy bunnies and of course the Canon folks are loving it.

I'm also Glasgow born and bred and now down south. I have just returned from a trip home and a little tour of Scotland. I'm not sure of my next visit but I'll keep a look out incase you have a meet up or photowalk arranged that may coincide with one of my visits. 

I have just noticed that Nikons Christmas styled rebates started yesterday over here in the Uk. Not a lot off and its only valid on selected  items but I could be tempted.

Thanks guys and gals for the replies. I know of all that have been mentioned here although in the UK they are not all avail or have a different name, will now do a little bit of searching/ research and see what I can get for a good price in the UK.
