I really really want a D400 too. I do not want full-frame and my D300s is definitely showing its sensor age, the camera itself is fine. Really all they have to do is update the sensor and everything else is fine.
I have bought a D7100 in the meantime, a nice camera but missing a few buttons and things that make the D300s a nicer camera to use.
When you update your camera and CS5 will no longer load your raw files (even if it's updated to the max) you will need to either update your version of PS, OR download the Adobe DNG converter which will convert your NEF files to DNG files, which will htne load in ACR.
Adam, I know you seem reluctant to have categories for the photos sharing, but just one section for all photos really puts me off. I generally gravitate towards viewing sports photos, and sorting through the chaff of all the other genres really puts me off going there and posting there. You'll see most every other forum site have sections for photos, it's great I hardly ever go to the other sections as they don't interest me, you've seen one sunset with soft swirly water in the foreground with a few rocks you've seen them all, but howestly I just can't be bothered reading all the labels pinned to each photo post to see if I want to view it or not, and then clicking through all the pages to find ones I want to see.
Please put categories in the photo posting section.
