FTZ does not save lens name in EXIF with z6

no idea why Nikon chose not to transfer the lens information into the EXIF data but they don't, at least on Z6

any idea how to setup a lens profile manually?

they let you choose lens numbers on the z6, but what is the translation from lens number 20 for instance??

 

this is utterly confusing and it messes up LR and Darktable since no lens information other then A/S/focal is saved

the forum has an issue right now where you password gets disabled and reset it still won't work

is lack of sharpness expected on 1.4g lenses?

I have treat myself with a full frame 55mm 1.4 for my d5300, giving me actually around 70mm.
At full aperture, focus subject are not sharp. Even at low apertures, it's much better but not sharp

Is it expected for this lens?
Or is it because the d5300 dx has trouble focusing with full frame objectives?

Hi, is it a common knowledge or is my filter having an issue?

The blurriness is very light but visible on comparative shots right on the camera screen, and I don't even have to zoom to the max

are Amazon 85/50mm 1.8 knock-offs any good?

when i look at the price, $100-$180 for something equivalent to a Nikkor $400 same specs... i wonder...

I cannot find any information on the picture you can get with them online... besides the reviews on the page, and samples looks correct, why would i pay 3x the price for a Nikkor equivalent?
