The little libraries of Thanet.
There are more than a dozen ‘little libraries’ around the area of Kent I now live in.
The idea behind them is to try and make books available to people who wouldn’t usually give then a second thought.
Last year I happened to notice one in the Minis Bay area, and was keen to to see how many of them I could find.
The final picture I took this afternoon of one actually being used.

The demise of Margate's Winter Gardens.
Built in 9011, this was a venue used by many performers.
My wife and I attended a show by comedienne Sarah Millican about 15 years ago there.
The operating company of the site lost heavily during the Covid pandemic, and the doors were closed for the last time in latter part of 2022.
Thanet District council sold off the interior artefacts and the site was due to be auctioned at some future date.
As can be seen, it is now in disrepair.
