Couldn't find any useful video editing features in NX Studio. just a bunch of useless movie-maker type of stuff with cuts transitions subtitles and junk :(

Not even basic contrast levels saturation or color settings for video editing.

And definitely not any sharpening effects or anything!

most of the image editing features only work for raw images. and my camera only produces jpg. so even more useless. :(

Weird. I guess I'll just have to take pics with the custom white balance option and a white paper plate or something as the target. but I dont like how unnaturally pure white it looks when I take photos like that.

it doesnt retain any of the natural white balance of the light thats in the image. a golden glow from an incandescent just turns into a straight blinding pure white. which looks weird

I dont know what shutter speed but it was fairly high since it was aimed at a bright light bulb. in the 1/100's or more at least.

Focal length can be guessed based on amount of image distortion visible. if theres any at all visible whatsoever even the tiniest bit. its probably taken at its widest focal length
otherwise its probably zoomed in a little and closer to 50mm equivalent focal length approximately.

I lost the image so i dont know what the original settings were when it was taken

I did a LOT of testing and I think -1 sharpness setting looks reasonable. not producing excessive halo artifacts. but still enhancing fine details a bit over turning off sharpening

Sharpening being set to "off" still makes some very slight halo artifacts but its only noticeable if you pixel peep at really high contrast areas with the lowest iso used and taken at the focal length where the lens is at its sharpest.

I think the contrast is slightly enhanced over what would be considered a neutral contrast level for a photo. its hard to tell though

color saturation is almost perfect only a tiny bit off at low iso's.

but at higher iso's color look really weak and desaturated looking likely due to the AGGRESSIVELY STRONG built in noise reduction on the camera software. Wish I could adjust or change the noise reduction settings.
