Field monitors

06 January 2021 - 07:38 PM

Hi All,

Sometimes, I find it hard to see my D7000's LCD screen in the field.  I purchased the ANDYCINE A6 Plus field monitor to help with this issue.  Does anyone have experience with this product?   What are your thoughts on field monitors for photography?

Help me build my kit

04 January 2021 - 08:32 PM

Happy New Year All,

I’m building my kit and wanted advice on the next lens to add.   I’m currently shooting on a D7000.  Should I forgo another lens and upgrade my camera?  I was thinking of purchasing the D500.  My current lenses are:

1.   AFS – 70 – 300 f4.5-5.6

2.   AFS – 35 mm f1.8 G

3.   Micro-Nikkor 105 mm f4 (Manual Focus)

4.   AF-S Nikkor 18-105 f1.3 – 5.6

5.   Nikon AF-S Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 G

Thanks ,

Karl

Hi From the Lovely Eastern Shore of Maryland

Hi Everyone,

I'm shooting with a D7000, and mostly use aperture priority. My next step is to develop a comfort level with full manual mode.  I welcome any and all suggestions making the transition.  I a new hobbyist and have purchased two prime lenses, 35 & 50 mm.  I inherited a 105mm (manual focus) and a collection of M42 vintage lenses.  I would like to use my vintage lenses on my D7000, but the adapters I have tried are to hard to get on and off.

If any can recommendation a workable adapter for the D700, it would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks, Karl
