In Topic: memory card problems with NIKON D5600

26 December 2021 - 12:36 PM

I know that this might be a little late. I have a D5600 and had the same problem with a card in the camera. I was able to read it in a card reader connected to a computer without any problems. I copied it to a hard drive to save the data. When I put it back into the camera I could not even format it because it was not recognized. I was able format it with the computer and use it with out any problems but when I put in in the camera, no luck. It went into the trash.

Did you try it with a card reader attached to a computer?

Here is couple of photos of a dirty filter. The filter had got some very light rain on it and left a few drops.I didn't realize it until later.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be  smudges on the filter. I cleaned the filter and the problem disappeared.

Is your filter and lens clean?

Does you camera have a Clean Image Sensor option in the setup? My D5600 has that option.

If I never met you, I wouldn't like you.
If I didn't like you, I wouldn't love you.
If I didn't love you, I wouldn't miss you.
But I did, I do, and I will.

In Topic: Using a D5600 and a fixed Nikkor 50mm lens, should I be able to sharply focus...

I have the same combination. The little 35mm is a great lens for the D5600. There should be no problem with the auto focus. Upon examine of the picture blown up it appears that the leaves on the left foreground are much sharper. What was the focus type and the f/stop? By stopping down a bit on landscapes to f/8 you can get a better depth of field.
