Digitaland - yea or nay?

11 August 2020 - 03:12 AM

Ok soooo, they seem awfully cheap. Reviews are mixed but lean towards positive (but could be staged I guess - either direction).

Does anyone have any first hand accounts of dealing with them?

Thanks in advance!

Hello (again!)

10 August 2020 - 12:26 AM

Hello there again.

I say "again" because I'd posted an initial hello last week but for some reason it's not showing up. I'm guessing I've done something incorrectly. Ah well...

Anyway, I'm Dan and have been a Nikon user for about 10 years or so now. Started off with a d5000 and moved on to a d7100, which I still have and enjoy. Been thinking lately of going full frame and getting a d800e, but I'm now thinking perhaps an 810? Been dabbling in a little astrophotography and from what I can tell, it performs well in this area.

Anyway, once again, hello! Feel free with any suggestions. If I do go full frame I'll be looking here for lenses (or even a camera) first (I'm an Aussie, but currently living in Germany, by the way).

Cheers!

Hi!

07 August 2020 - 01:32 AM

Been meaning to get an account here for ages now - it was recommended to me by a friend over on the Pentax site believe it or not .

Anyway, hello!

Been shooting with a couple of Nikon's over the years. Firstly a d5000 and then a d7100. Have enjoyed them both but am thinking of getting hold of a d800e (or possibly and 810). Seems as though there are none for sale new so I'm thinking a good second hand one might be the go. Any thoughts on the matter are well appreciated!

Cheers all.

Dan.
