I personally love the size, weight, feel and ergonomics of my beloved 300s, but I would appreciate an upgraded sensor, High ISO capability, modern processor and extra MPs for better cropping...
I would also like the ability to re-use my existing MB110 grip and custom sized ballhead and sling mounting plates.  I've handled the D7000/7010 and even the D600, but don't really like the feel or ergonomics of either.

Why does Nikon disrespect the users of the 300/300s platform so ?

I WANT MY D400 AND I WANT IT NOW !
