What is this D750 flare with a dark band?

Hello!

 

I noticed a dark banding at the bottom edge of an image shot with my D750 in a specific backlit situation that causes flaring. This is similar to the flare issue that Nikon acknowledged, but on the bottom of the frame instead of the top. Does anyone know what this is?

Camera is upside down just to replicate the issue using the sun.

 

According to the serial number checker on Nikon's site my camera is not affected by neither the flare issue or the shutter shading issue.
