Hi. I got a used D750, which works normally. With the built-in flash, the camera delays a second before shutter. How do I set it to fire instantly? How do I get to the flash settings?

Hi. I got a used D750, which works normally with the built-in flash. I put my SB 600 on it. With it on, the camera delays a second before shutter. How do I set it to fire instantly? Has to be a setting in the camera or the flash. How do I get to the settings?
