so did we find out whose odds were in favor? I haven't seen any activity since last night...

In Topic: Q&A Thread for D610 Giveaway

Last post I saw from Adam yesterday said he was still validating entries.  I guess some folks claimed certain entries that were not really earned.  Sounds like he's trying to make sure that the drawing is fair and folks don't win by claiming extra entries.  As noted in the math, not a high chance for any of us, but I'm fine with whatever delay is required to make sure it is as fair as possible for all!

May the odds be ever in your favor!

In Topic: D5300 or D7100

While the d5300 looks awesome and has the gps and wifi function...ask yourself...will I be shooting video? If you said yes to that, you may want to look at the d5300 a little more...while the d7100 has amazing functions for it just as well, the d5300 has 1080p at 60 fps as well as a rotating screen (something I wish the d7100 had). While all of the specs matter in each camera, I think I'll be purchasing myself a d7100 at the end of this month, mainly because it has some better features such as a BUILT IN FOCUSING MOTOR, not that you need one. But you can use older AF lenses which will save your wallet and your camera some much needed money. The more customizible buttons is another thing thats really interesting me in it as well....oh not to mention the 51 focus points and 15 cross points...fantastic for wildlife and sports photography....I know what I'll be purchasing...

In Topic: To prime or not to prime. That is the question?

I have my 35mm 1.8G lens and absolutely LOVE IT! I hardly will even use a different lens, I almost wish that the d3200 would come with it, it really teaches beginners how to use a camera. Not sure if this helps, but hope it does.
