Consider Buying a Nikon D5300 Kit (AF-P 18-55 VR)

19 August 2019 - 03:24 PM

Hello my name is Michael and im new to this hobby. I started taking photos in late 2018 with my mothers old Nikon D60. As i progress through this hobby i started to love it and dedicate more and more hours into it. Lately i've been thinking of buying Nikon D5300 kit (AF-P 18-55 VR) which is around 400 euros in my country right now. I would like to know your opinion about this. I prefer to photograph landscapes, and also would love to photograph the milky way and star trails. Also let me know if i will be able to do these with NIKON 5300. I can understand that long exposure photography needs a good tripot and maybe another lense. At this point i have a tripod so i have seen some extra lenses such as  -Yongnuo YN 50mm f/1.8 (Canon EF) and - Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G. Please let me know what do you think!

thank you for your time :)
