Hi Fletch. You are absolutely right about it. Weird. Almost all the collectors I do know have without any exception all some kind of different problems with the wifes / girlfriend over its collections. But we can't manage without them, so most of us, have quietly accepted the condition for they (the women) have some other good sides. Welcome. Your post recalled for me a pleasant visit to Flensburg with a colleague from Kiel back in the '90s when business interests brought me to that part of the world. Copenhagen remains one of my favorite places. I would always stay there when I needed to attend meetings at a shipyard in Malmö. That was before the Øresund Bridge was completed so I would take a ferry (a hydrofoil, if I recall correctly) to make the trip.

Next time, you have to make a stop in Flensburg, then I'm making a great cu of coffee for you and if you have company then they are welcome as well.

The first time I was in Vienna, a coffee and croissant
— on the terrace — costed me a staggering 16 $…
and they were not even served with a smile!

I'm so happy living in Flensburg. The border town between Germany and Denmark and the dor to Scandinavia so there are all kind of people from the most of Europe traveling through. The price for a big cup of coffee is only 1,50 euro. One of the cheapest part of Germany. I can recommend you all to take some holidays in Flensburg, and you can all sleep in my flat.

Expensive is one thing… but is it the best, Reinhardt?

Your right and no, it's exactly the same coffee as the coffee in the rest of the world, but due to high sallery in Denmark, the coffee Preis follows the Danish earning, but for someone people from a low sallery country, 7 US $ for a small cup of coffee is rather expensive. What do you think ?

How do you store and display all your Nikon gear, when one are a serious collector. Hope that someone do have some pictures with some bright ideas how to place the cameras, so they are presented in a good way. Looking forward to see some example from other Nikon collectors.

It's difficult to stopping collecting, when one first have started, and have become some know-how about the Nikon history and the camera production.

I am of course going to upload a lot of photos of my country Denmark and the former Danish town Flensburg thats today is a German town, after an election in the year 1921, between Denmark and Germany. The German majority was voting for Germany. Not at all fair. Denmark had at that time only 2 million citizen, but Germany did have more than 50 million, but nothing to do about it today. There are more than 60 thousand Danes living in Flensburg and the suburbs around Flensburg, and a gut Funktion local Danish community.
