Didn't contribute very many images to this thread but I agree that it was an interesting exercise. It was especially true since I mainly take wildlife images for which my DX 35mm f/1.8 rarely comes into play. Moving physically closer and further away from a subject reminded me of how reliant I've become on zoom lenses.
If nothing else, Normalvember 2022 has inspired me to find more subjects that lend themselves to shooting with a prime lens. I may be an old dog (78), but my "wheels" still work fine even if they do creak a little sometimes.

Chestnut Square Historic Village is a collection of several historic homes, a replica of a one-room school house, a chapel and a store on 2.5 acres. The grounds also include a blacksmith shop, smoke house, and a reception house and reception gardens. The buildings include period artifacts showing how people lived in Collin County Texas between 1854 and 1940.
All images were taken in Aperture Priority mode using a Nikon D5600 and AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G lens.

The Silos Mural Project features the installation of a mural by artist Guido van Helten on these 100 foot tall historic concrete silos and grain elevator. The old silos are located on a property being repurposed as our small city's Municipal Community Complex, including a new city hall building.
