D7500 Top LCD won't go off

Hi everybody, first post.

While going nuts trying to make SnapBridge work with my D7500, I found another issue that worries me more: the top LCD won't go off unless I take the battery out.

Someone had this problem? It's sucking the battery. Tried a full reset, but the camera stays with the "resetting..." text forever and when I finally take the battery out, place it again and power on the camera, all my settings are still there.

Any idea on what's going on?
