D3400 custom picture control

Is it possible to install custom picture control presets onto a D3400? If not, what alternatives are there for achieving a "film camera look"?

 

In an attempt to save money, I've been looking at alternatives to using actual film - I go through far too much - and stumbled across custom picture control presets. Having downloaded a couple of presets into a CUSTOMPC folder on my SD card, I went into the shooting menu to install them, but was unable to find the "Manage Picture Control" button. I imagine it's just not possible to do this on a D3400, but felt it best to ask before giving up. Any help would be very much appreciated.
