Overexposed parts turn pink/purple D50

Hi Guys,

 

I have a fairly old Nikon D50 (from 2007 I believe). 

It started two days ago with some small details like the balls on the christmas tree.

 

But it's getting worse and worse

Anyone else had this problem? Is this fixable?
