Nikon SB-700

If you have an SB-700 would you please check it and see if it locks in the straight-up position? I'm having a run-a-round with Nikon and they say that it is not supposed to lock in that position. My SB-800 and SB-600 both lock straight up.

Photography has been a huge part of my life. I have had a SLR of one brand or another since June 1968. Started with Petri, moved to Minolta and finally got a Nikon film camera in 1996. Got my first DSLR in Dec 2003 - Nikon D100. I have gone through many of the DXXX cameras and now I have a D750.
