Greetings, just joined the forums. New to Nikon, but I have been using Pentax for approx. 25 years. I'm leisurely gathering Nikon gear for a gradual switch-over. Hope this post goes through, as I'm no computer wizard.  Thanks, Steve S.

Greetings;  new to Nikon and haven't even used my D7100 yet. Just bought a Nikon 18-105 and my lens hood should arrive tomorrow. I've been a Pentax user for around 30 years, and have accumulated a lot of gear, and about 500,000 images on slide, negative and digital, in various stages of disarray. Hoping to make a leisurely slide over to Nikon.
