>>Shameless self-promotion mode>> A good way to get used to a body and it's quirks quickly is to participate in my One week... challenges. The whole idea behind the challenge is to get out and use one camera and lens until it becomes second nature. I usually shoot for 20-45 minutes per day and can do the selection and processing in about the same time in the evening while winding down. <<Shameless self-promotion mode<<.

The important thing is to not only shoot, but reflect on what settings worked, and which didn't. Capture NX-D reads the full EXIF, and presents it in a clear and concise way if you need to check things like what metering and AF mode was used and what settings for the Picture control and the Active D-lighting.

Sounds like a good idea, I just have to find time to fit it in, what with work and taking the kids to clubs etc I don't get much time on an evening, but I really should make the effort.

my stick my nifty fifty on the week and try get some shots done.

It might be the first time using the D7200 but it looks like you have been around photography for a while.  It is a good shot.

You would be correct, I started about 12 years ago with a Nikon D50, then progressed to  a Nikon D80, but haven't been out with a camera for about 5 years, and was Looking through some old photos I thought to myself why did I stop? So my wife got me the D7200 for my birthday and I intend to make good use of it.

thanks for looking guys

Pete

Thanks for your opinions, I was leaning towards the d7200 as I really could see why there was such a big price difference.

Now the question is has any body had any dealings with E-infinity, as they look to be cheapest on the web nearly £300 cheaper than high street names. I was wondering if it will come with the full U.K. Warranty etc.
