Newbie with a DSLR

Greetings!

 

My name is Andrew, and I live in Brisbane, Australia with my wife and three of my four kids.

 

I have a Nikon D3400 with the kitset lenses (18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses) and am learning the ins and outs of shooting with a DSLR that I was given as an early Christmas present.

 

Mostly an amateur, but have used an bridge camera before now.

 

I haven't had much of a chance to take it out and play yet, but have a couple of weeks off now so I hope to have a go of it.

 

Looking forward to asking questions and learning lots.
