Nikon D5500: How do you switch "back button focus" BACK to half-shutter release?

I finally figured out WHY my camera wouldn't focus recently - I touched settings randomly practicing "out of auto". Finally realized it was in Back Button Focus mode. I had to use it for the day - and may actually like it after all! (Tried it once before but really struggled to get out of the habit of trying to focus with the half shutter.)

BUT I can't figure out what settings return camera to half-shutter focus. Just in case...!

My laptop died a few months ago and Nikon's old free editing software (that I was used to) seems to be discontinued or about to be a pay-for option. The new NX Studio looks like it may be more efficient - when I figure it out!  Anyone played around with it yet? It may mimic the more commonly used editing software. It feels backwards from the way their other program was set up.

I need a crash course on steps for keeping files neat & backed up from the minute you slip the SD card out of the camera!

Dell/Windows version

All of a sudden files of uploaded pics off SD card were going individually at the end of Pictures folder. Could not figure out why - but I've "touched" too many settings to know what I did wrong this time.

Plus the SD card started showing up named GENERIC.

(Lightbulb moment this morning with my third cup of coffee!)

First time ever with a non-Nikon lens...  My new year's gift to myself was the 18-400 lens. Coincides with my new issues!!

How do I manage settings for where they go? I want them to go in a folder together not strung out one by one.....

I upload card through the PHOTOS App and then use Nikon's View-NXi for editing.

Using a different method to upload sd card onto Dell laptop perhaps?
