Silverstone Classic GP

22 October 2013 - 05:45 PM

I found these on  an old backup disc, from the classic grand prix at Silverstone in 2010. They were taken with my FujiFilm Finepix S7000! It was a great camera and my first step towards a DSLR!

D7000 ISO settings

21 October 2013 - 03:39 PM

Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution! When in manual I cannot seem to set the ISO to a setting of my choice, no matter what setting I dial in as soon as I half press the shutter it reverts to auto-ISO . Normally it sets itself as high as 6400! The only way I can drop, the ISO,is to choose scene mode? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Lunar Eclipse

18 October 2013 - 12:01 PM

Here in the uk tonight( around midnight GMT, and depending on cloud cover and light pollution) we should be getting a great view of a lunar eclipse. I know I will be out in the garden with my telescope and zoom lens to see if I can get any shots! What about you guys?

Virtual Horizon

17 October 2013 - 05:35 AM

I have just taken delivery of the D7000 and whilst scrolling through the vast amount of options discovered the Virtual Horizon. im guessing this will actually come in quite handy for getting level landscapes and such, especially in combination with the grid view. As i have not yet had the chance to use it yet, does anyone else have experience of using it and its possible pro`s and con`s? Other than the fact its like being in a cockpit!!
