#10358 Nikon D5100 with a Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 lense?

1. No. However I've never had any problem with any lens on any camera. Some people seem to though. It's easy, you hold your camera in your right hand, and the lens in your left, no problems!

2. Yes.

#10374 Nikon D5100 with a Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 lense?

It's a remarkable lens , good choice.

1-A bit..yes, but keep in mind any lens which is heavier than the body should be held from the lens especially long lenses
Otherwise the mount will break really soon.

And yes about number 2 :)
