Have great appeal

Are they a safe match for coolpix P900?

On/off power button light issue

I Purchased P900 3 weeks ago

On/off power button light operates well until

I open the LCD door - light turns off

All functions operate normal- just the light off

When I switch to EVF - light turns on

Any ideas? Similar issues? Advice?
