About Me

I'm a photographer, a father and a husband. I am passionate about capturing the wonderful place we call World.

I love to experiment with different styles, Black and Whites and Sepia antique tones, but also love High Dynamic Range photography.

I am the oldest of four children and was born in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. All my live I've lived in Santa Isabel, a small but beautiful town in the southern part of the island. I am a product of the public education system from elementary school all the way to college. My Major is in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

I love feedback on my work. I'm always looking for ways to improve and get better. Don't worry, you can be honest. I'll take the bad with the good.

How did I get into photography?

It all started out of curiosity. I would ask myself, how do you capture the essence of a moment without interfering with its normal course? That's when I bought my first DSLR and started studying the wonderful art of photography.

I note that you used a 24mm lens. Can you provide more details on the lens and it was my understanding that the D7000 was not a full frame camera.

Hi, I used the 14-24 f/2.8 lens @ 24mm for the photo. And yes, the D7000 is a DX format sensor camera. I used the D700 and that one has a full frame body. Hope this helps!

For this one, I was ready about one hour before the start of the fireworks show. I wanted to include the main element (Tori Gate), the lasers, the fireworks and a nice reflection. In order to end up with the shot I was after, I used a cable release.

Your photo is amazing. Is it really a result of post processing of one raw photo?

Thank you and yes. Only one raw file!

All PP was done entirely in LR5. I guess it's called a pseudo hdr image. I think it looks cool and different!

I like the composition, exposure is good. What camera and lens did you use and camera and lens stettings for thia photo? And did you use a flash at all?
