It's nice to be here and I am trying to learn how to navigate the forum.

I have enjoyed taking pictures all my life.

Started out with a Minolta 35mm film camera 30 some years ago, and took some B&W classes and then a color class at the local community college.

Life happened, kids happened, and I stopped taking pictures--except family and vacation snapshots, of course.

My husband got me my pride and joy D3000 a few years ago for Christmas and I am getting back into taking pictures for hobby and fun.

I have been taking workshops offered through the park district and some classes through our local cultural arts center and love it.

Looking forward to learning a lot from the forum and meeting new folks!
