#12105 DX Neck straps

Posted by Daniel on 30 December 2013 - 02:11 PM

I like my Nikon D800E strap, I found after I got the camera that the D7100 strap felt small and thin and wasn't as comfortable to carry. I don't feel my camera is any less safe with the logo put on the camera either because when I am not carry it it is in the same bag as my D7100 and its bright orange so I can keep a closer eye on them. I am a proud Nikon owner and I like the model of the camera printed on the strap as well. Sure wish they made the same type of strap for my D7100 and D60. My thoughts anyways

Same reason why you don't see people wearing clothing with compact car logo's but you do with super car logos.

Here's a couple of links about the black rapid strap that I have, hopes this helps. One link is from Fro and he knows photo...

The second video shows you how to connect the strap to some lenses with the built in tripod mount..

Ok I'll find a link for you. It doesn't support the lens while your actually taking a picture, just when you are walking or lugging it around and doesn't put any weight or stress on the camera body it's self just the lens because if you carry the load of the lens through the camera body you might damage it as well as it puts the Entire load weight of the camera and lens on your shoulder.

Ok thanks for the info. Was asking because when I took shots with my 150-500mm lens and said it was too soft for me I was using my d800e and a guy that works at a camera store said my camera was to much for the lens. He said the d800e will bring out flaws in some lenses because it is so sharp and the resolution is high and an older camera would work better with the lens he said. I don't know if this is true or not but your shots are sharper then mine.

Make sure to give a thumbs up or comment to your favorite pics on my site. I find it interesting that the pics that are my favorite are not generally not that of others and my least favorite are the favorite of others. At least I will know a bit of what works and what doesn't. For those that haven't seen my site its photos from this year and pics of the USA and Canada. I haven't been out side of Canada and the USA yet.

Hi, DSLR photography is my main hobby and I use facebook groups to display my photos online but I am presently working on my own personal website out side of facebook.. I enjoy traveling and capturing the scenery or places I've been on my DLSR camera's. The cameras I've used are the Nikon's D60, D7000, D7100, and D800E. Thought I am working on becoming good at most aspects of photography most photos I've taken are landscape and lately I've been trying wildlife and people portraits.

My group is closed so if you want to see my pictures then request to join my group and I will add you. Hope to see you on my facebook groups page @:   http://www.facebook....daniel.despins/

Yup big difference because the weight of the lens is transferred to your should and not your hand or arm. For a lens that size it's a must.
