Some time back I was gifted a camera/lens kit (D5600) and have been learning to use some of its more advanced features than on my D3400.
The kit contained an AF-S DX Nikkor 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens.
The lens has what I see is a ring that is for focus.
I don't see much difference in the focus when I rotate the ring. Since I'm pretty much an "Auto" photographer....how do I use this focus ring properly. I'd like to understand and use my equipment more fully.
This lens has become my normal everyday lens since it seems to provide what I feel are very good photos. It is used for closeups and also has sufficient zoom capabilities for most of my needs.
