Thanks for your thoughts. Change is difficult to embrace at times but for the most part developments in computing has been positive. I guess I'm not comfortable yet giving up control of my pictures and other data.  :(

I was very blessed to get a Nikon D5200 with a lovely 18 to 300mm lens. Wow, will I be busy playing with this. I hope to be able to post some in the coming year.

I appreciate Nikon's attempt to bring full frame cameras down in price for the everday photographer. I have had a Nikon in the "film era" and have dreamed of getting a full frame DSLR, but price does not permit. The D610 is still a bit out of reach financially but now I can dream again.
