First set is from a village on the river Lys, Astene

Finally, two from Ooidonk on Lomography Colour 100

a fragment of the roof of the castle Ooidonk is best known for, in the area, that is.

A nice set, Bart... as always. I do wish you had included a bit more of the road in #3. Would have made a nice composition.

There's nothing wrong with a flaky bridge.

 

Does it open very often?

Actually, this is a fixed bridge

Digital sepia is sooo difficult as it looks like an old underfixed amateur print if it is even slightly overcooked.

 

I tend to go with selenium toning effects, probably because I usually used a selenium bath in the darkroom, both for the archival properties and for the richer blacks.

 

It is a nice little series of photos. Are they scanned film or digital?

These are digital, with a China build re-issue by Light Lens Lab of an old leica lens: 8-element 35mm f2.0 .

the toning scheme is a split toning (slightly) in capture one:

with the extra that it will let you watch the paint flake, when you're tired of watching the grass grow

Hi,

I discovered I no longer could start a new thread in the b&w forum (only forum I post in)

I can reply to an existing thread.

Any idea on what's going on? and how to fix it 

After I use either Preview or Post, I get directed to a status page informing me "Sorry, we couldn't find that!" and We could not find the page you were looking for. 

There's a link "Contact the community administrator" which directs a mail to pentax forums. I know that could be OK but I thought I'd give it a try here first.

In case I can post this, it could be related to the linked images I posted in the b&w forum but that is how I've posted here since my first day.

I've been trying to post an answer to another thread and there it get's stuck on "saving post" 

I thought I'd try it here and then could delete the test post but I hadn't noticed this option isn't available
