I understand the answer is relative but how long should it take to load a image to disc before I can shoot again? (This is my first DSLR the last time I used a camera extensively it was 35mm) I am using a D3300 with the 18-55mm DX lens and a SanDisk 64GB Ultra SDXC UHS-I card. I am saving as Fine JPEG. W/O flash through the viewfinder I can take pictures almost instantly, Using Live View It takes half a second or so. If I add flash to that it takes around a second before I can shoot again. Using Live View, flash and saving as RAW+Fine it takes a few seconds before I can shoot again. Is this normal?

Sounds about right...can't speak to viewfinder vs. LiveView since I never use LiveView, but writing a RAW file (or RAW + JPEG) is going to take longer than writing just JPEG if for no other reason than RAW files are larger.  If writing both, then both of the files need to be written to the card as I believe the D3300 has only one card.  Using a flash means waiting for the flash to recharge and be ready for another shot.  That becomes dependent on how much energy the flash had to expend on the previous shot and how fresh your batteries in the flash are.
