Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 11 March 2018, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

P.S. Peter is running a fun single-lens challenge--everyone is welcome to play. Just look for the One Week, One Camera, One Lens thread in the mini-challenge forums.

P.P.S. The editing exercises are taking a break at the moment, but feel free to play around in the old exercises.

This young man is on my sons 4th grade travel basketball team.   A good deal of post processing to remove a chair, even out blue painted wall, remove two-tone wall space, etc.

Nikon d7500, 70-200 mm @70 mm

ISO 3200 (poor gym lighting), f/2.8 at 1/800 sec.

I had some time to get out yesterday. Not much. Drove by my favorite wildlife management area. Two Sandhill cranes make this their home for the summer. I wished I had been there earlier as the sun was on the wrong side. This just my jpg file not from raw.

Today was warm enough for a walk through the neighborhood.  I caught what looks to be granddad and his grandkids out enjoying the sunshine, too.

We here in the Great Pacific Northwest have been experiencing some very unseasonable weather with temperatures rubbing up against 65 degrees and abundant sunshine.  I love that, abundant sunshine.  Well, that is our weather reporters for you.

Anyway I decided to take my Olympus gear out and see what trouble I could get myself into.  Hope you fine folks enjoy and thanks so much for viewing.

P.S. The EXIF shows no flash used.  I did use the flash as this image came out way overexposed and I ended up having to apply some CPR to bring it back from the brink.  I have had this issue with EXIF Data in Photo Editor 10.

I'm finally getting caught up on posting some images...

I got another chance to shoot some rugby and figured I'd include a couple of the images here...Both shot with my D4, 200-400 @ 400, f4, 1/1000 and ISO 400.
