Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 4 March 2018, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

P.S. Peter is running a fun single-lens challenge--everyone is welcome to play. Just look for the One Week, One Camera, One Lens thread in the mini-challenge forums.

P.P.S. The editing exercises are taking a break at the moment, but feel free to play around in the old exercises.

I had to go in to Washington DC this week for a few days of training class.  I went extra early one morning when the forecast said it would be sunny and played tourist around the monuments.  This is my favorite of the bunch. Taken from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial looking toward the Washington monument.

I had as you can see in the second picture a lot of hi-line pictures to deal with. The barn as I was driving caught my attention big time. If I can find the farmer I will go back and ask him if I could walk out half way across the field and get under the wires.

I like the perspective in this photograph.  I also enjoy Geometric Patterns and this arrangement I felt had some really great symmetry.  Please enjoy and thanks so much for viewing.

Taken with Pentax k-50 body, Pentax-DA 18~55mm AL Lens.

1/60s, F/8, ISO 200, Focal Length 20mm, Manual Exposure Mode, No flash and used CWA Metering.

Two phone photos from me this week - neither very exciting except that they show pretty much the same location on our property...

IMG_0562.jpg

The difference is roughly 24 hours...and a very strong wind (gale force) that changed direction...We spoke to several people in the area who said they had never seen the water as low as it was...in the first the water was about 2 feet below "normal" level and about three inches over in the second image...
