Hello all
Im pretty new in this DSLR world and therefore it seems like a jungle to understand what is better then something else. But I love to take pictures and do the job to get it.
Currently I have a Fujii x10 which I am quiet happy for. It takes excellent photos but what im lacking is (1) EASIER bookeh effect on close up and (2) to take more pictures in a second. To use the Manual Focus (MF) I have to look at the LCD screen to see how far the focus point is from my position (0-10m) and thereafter hope that my object is still in that position. If it moved, I have to move with it x meters. If it the sun is shining I cant really see what is happening on the screen.
So the result is that I am using MF when objects are at the same spot and AF when the object is moving. And when im taking pictures of my kid, well... hopefully I get that one look right because if not I have to try again 1 second later.
I have been looking at different kind of Nikon cameras and I cant really figure out if I should go for a FX or DX camera. Mostly people say Full-Frames are better, but will I notice? I think I ended up with one of these two:
1) Nikon d5300/d5600 with AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G
2) Nikon D600 with either:
(1) Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G or
(2) Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D
I tried to compare them: Nikon D600 vs Nikon D5300 Detailed Comparison and tried to look at the different lenses: Dxomark.dk
I know its a matter of personal opinion and you cant choose for me. But could you guys by any chance give me some pros/cons on choosing those camera?
Is it worth it to choose a FX camera (850 g) from 2012 without wifi but it obviosly has a beter overall score? Or should I choose the DX camera (480 g - 370g less) with wifi and rotateable lcd screen? I dont even know if I would ever use the WIFI and rotateable LCD screen.
Or should i go for the d5600 instead of the d5300? Will the lighter D5300/d5600 be worth it? Or doesnt it matter when you have a DSLR camera?
