Hi,

I have a D850 and all was well for a few weeks. Now i'm not able to get anything sharp, whether that be Landscape shots or wildlife.

My settings are all ok.... shooting birds at 1/3200 for example.......everything has a blur where before it was crystal clear.

What could be the problem? Thanks

What happens if you try a landscape shot on a tripod with liveview? If that is sharp, you probably have an alignment issue with the AF sub-mirror. This means a trip to the service center for the body :(.

Have you tried with different lenses?

Probably you already did check, but is none of the two switches (on the lens and on the camerabody) set to manual focus. If in doubt switch them from A to M and then back.

Its happening both with landscape shots in live view on a tripod, and wildlife shots hand held at high shutter speeds. Basically, whatever i do, its missing focus. I'll try some more shots manually focusing in live view and see if i can get them sharp....but probably i'll have to send it to a service centre. Oh and i see you live in Uppsala.....been there many times when i lived in Stockholm a few years ago.

Yes, happening with all my lenses.
