My combination for this week will be the D7200 and AF Nikkor 85/1.8D again. My foot is much better now, so I will probably resume my walks with a camera around midweek or so.

If anyone else wants to shoot a single lens with me for a week, feel free to post what you get in this thread.

Don't forget that the subject says one lens, so you can use your favourite zoom if you want to, it doesn't have to be a prime. The idea behind this exercise is to get in the habit of using our cameras. Remember that the best camera is the one you have with you and are familiar with.

This week did not go anywhere near the way I expected it to go...that said, I was still able to shoot several days and will post my images as soon as I can get them onto the computer...

Definitely was not the week we had planned, but I think I got some decent images anyway...Through the week I managed to get decent photos of all the dogs but one...We had an extra dog come visit our "family dog park" over the weekend and some decent temperatures meant some time outside...for this week, I chose to try and grab individual photos of each of the dogs rather than images of them playing...Also trying to learn the D500 noise, I "locked" the ISO at 6400 for the week...

We start out with Logan...our oldest...he loves to hang out in the office while I'm working and really prefers being alone to hanging out with the pack...

Next I caught Tucker (largest) when he was stretched out on the couch...I have been wanting to get a shot like this where you can really see his eyes...

DogPark-0169.jpg

Xylie - youngest - is next...Really love her eyes as well...she will pretty much play with any dog at any time...

DogPark-0255.jpg

...but she doesn't like it when dogs are playing and she's inside:

Next comes Oakley my son's girlfriend's pup...She loves her toys!

DogPark-0260.jpg

Next is Ruger...He's a big boy - not as tall as Tucker but very solid as you can see...he enjoyed his visit for the weekend as did his owner...very sweet and enjoyed playing with the rest of the pack...

DogPark-0186.jpg

Raven is the shortest and pretty much rules the pack (although Tucker would not agree)...I caught her inside this week...

DogPark-0310.jpg

Just for grins, I added an older photo of Lexi to round out the group...

A gift to my wife from some friends for her garden...

I also did some sunset shots...

DogPark-0359.jpg

...and moon rise images this week...

Sorry - meant to include that I did some cropping / slight exposure adjustments but no noise reduction...You can probably see that anyway in at least some of the images :)!
